It is not advice, and not a determination
Nothing here is legal, financial or admissions advice. A verdict on this site describes which rule appears to govern a state pair according to published sources. It is not a decision, and it does not bind any institution. Residency classification and exchange-program awards are decided solely by the college you apply to, applying its own state's rules to your own circumstances.
Accuracy and currency
Tuition rates change annually and compact membership changes by legislative act. Every page shows when it was last verified, and every figure links to the official source. We take accuracy seriously and correct errors promptly, but we do not warrant that any figure is current at the moment you read it. Verify against the linked official source before you rely on anything here — particularly before making a financial commitment.
